In a candid and emotional interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast by Glitch Africa Studios, veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko shared a glimpse into his personal life, revealing the tragic loss of three of his wives.
Kosoko, known for his iconic roles in Nigerian cinema, clarified that contrary to popular belief, he never had four wives at the same time. Instead, he explained that he had experienced a series of tragic losses, with three of his wives passing away under different circumstances.
“I lost three wives in different circumstances,” Kosoko said, his voice filled with emotion. “I had two wives and I lost them, then I married another two and I lost one. So, that’s the situation. It’s not as if I married four wives at the same time.”
Kosoko, who is currently married to one wife, expressed his gratitude to God for the love and companionship she brings to his life. “I hope I will not lose her,” he added, his voice tinged with a mix of sadness and hope.
