In a heart-wrenching conversation on the “With Chude” podcast, veteran Nollywood actress and pastor Eucharia Anunobi shared her poignant experience of losing her only child, Raymond Ekwu, to sickle cell anemia in 2017 at the age of 15.
Anunobi, with unwavering faith, revealed how her spiritual growth has helped her navigate the immense grief. She reflected, “I know he’s not gone; I know I’ll see him again… The comfort I have is because of the word of God.”
The actress emphasized that her faith has given her a new perspective, where material concerns hold less significance. She noted, “When you grow in God, you understand that everything is temporal… Fighting over material things makes no sense because you won’t live forever.”
