Chelsea sacks Head Coach Thomas Tuchel after recent poor forms

Chelsea football club has parted ways with Thomas Tuchel. The new owners believe that now is the ideal moment to implement this change as they have now owned the Club for 100 days and have continued to work hard to move the club forward.

As the Club moves quickly to select a new head coach, Chelsea’s coaching staff will be in charge of the team throughout training and during the preparation of our forthcoming games. There won’t be any more commentary until a new head coach is named.

The last manager at the club to have his team lose three of their first seven competitive games in a season was José Mourinho. Thomas Tuchel has now seen Chelsea lose three of their opening seven competitive matches in 2022–23 (W3 D1 L3).

In a statement by the club, it stated: ‘On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.

As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.’
